CAP Members have been asked to assist with this great event! We will have an information booth setup as well as be assisting with security for military planes and airport security lines (no one is to cross onto the airfield that day). This is going to be a great event bringing in a large amount of community support and involvement with proceeds going to the Old Glory Honor Flights!
When: We will meet at FCCS Information Booth at the Airport that day. We will work shifts, so that each person has time to grab food, see the displays, and watch the fun! Time will depend on your slotted time.
Time: Cadet drop off/pick up will be at ATW, event runs from 1000-1400
What is the “Pulling for Honor” Event?
The Pulling for Honor event is September 9, 2017, and the community is invited to attend from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pulling for Honor also includes a children’s plane pull, military and civilian aircraft displays, veteran’s exhibits (providing vital information regarding services available for veterans in our community) and a cookout on the world’s only Delta Airlines Grill-It Plane (an aircraft replica containing multiple grills in its fuselage).
More information can be found on the ATW website: https://atwairport.com/community-partnerships/pulling-for-honor/
*Please note: do not sign up to volunteer individually on their website – Lt Bastian is signing us up as a group*
